For the past 13 years, Frederick's has been owned and operated by a brother and sister team, Stuart Smith, the manager, and Connie Smith Maxam, the chef. Both are lifetime residents of this serene community located right on Lake George. Stuart and Connie are graduates of Johnson-Wales University in Rhode Island, and prior to Frederick's, had worked in several area restaurants. |

Frederick's is open year round, 7 days a week. In the summer months, you can enjoy our Sunday Raw Bars and live music. During the winter months, you can dine by one of our fireplaces and sample our complementary soups and tasty snacks.  DiningBolton Landing's main street is lined with a number of friendly, informal restaurants, many featuring local seafood. Typical is Frederick's, 4970 Lakeshore Drive, (518) 644-3484, a favorite among local camp counselors, who congregate there for late-night suppers. The wraparound porch, which affords a good view of the main street, is especially pleasant on summer evenings. A dinner for two that included grilled salmon, linguine marinara, a huge platter of nachos, a couple of piña coladas and dessert came to $60, including tip. |
We also have Raw Bar every Sunday in the summer from 4-6pm. This includes Smoked Trout, Smoked Salmon, Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters, Clams, and half-cooked Lobster Tail.
